Food Bank

With the support of Tesco and fareshare we provided over 15’000 meals to hungry families and the homeless of Manchester. Our volunteers help pack and distribute food packs.

Our Food Banks opening hours are 1-2 through Tuesday – Friday

Clothing Bank

We provide a clothing donation service whereby we receive old and new clothing items which we then pass on to service users. Any owner of unwanted clothing can come down to the Middleton Community Trust Office and hand them in. We accept Paired Shoes, T-Shirts, Sweaters, Shirts, Suits, Coats, Dresses, Skirts, Pants and Jeans. No bedding or underwear unless they are new and packaged, we ask all items to be washed, and without tears or stains.

Why Blockchain?

We are using Blockchain technology to show how transactions built on a trusted network can be made from anywhere in the world. Blockchain means it’s possible to see where your donation is being spent so you can feel confident that your money is being used on food and clothing. Blockchain allows you to see your donation transaction at all times on the blockchain ledger, we feel the non-profit sector has to embrace this technology to survive in this difficult climate.
